You are invited to a weekend away in a beautiful natural setting designed to help you . . .

• explore new sources of energy
• awaken to your larger ecological identity
• discover your inner wisdom, strength and beauty
• affirm your sense of purpose

Utilizing a wide range of modalities and processes, the weekend will offer a soul-fulfilling exploration of our true nature as seen through the lens of the Creation Spirituality tradition (as articulated by Matthew Fox) and the Work that Reconnects (as developed and articulated by Joanna Macy).

Halloween night will feature a special "Council of all Beings" around an evening campfire featuring poems, reflections, mask making and play as we embody and celebrate the natural world and our unique role as cosmic celebrants.

The central purpose of this weekend is to help us uncover and experience our innate onnections with each other and with the self-healing powers in the web of life, so that we may be enlivened and motivated to play our part in creating a sustainable civilization.

This weekend will be facilitated by Marilyn Stoner and Mark Steiner two seasoned group leaders who take great pleasure in sharing these explorations with their fellow earthlings. Both Mark and Marilyn bring years of facilitation experience to this event and both are recommended by Joanna Macy as presenters of the Work that Reconnects.

The costs for the weekend (which begins Friday with dinner at 6:00 pm and ends Sunday atnoon) are $150 for room and five meals and a sliding scale of $50 - $150 for additional expenses and the facilitators time.

This event will be held at the Essence House Retreat Center in Palmyra, Indiana (about 25 minutes from downtown Louisville, Kentucky). Sleeping rooms are communal, each containing up to eight beds. Meals will be vegetarian with wheat free and vegan options.
